About Central Releif Welfare Trust

Help the Society,Donate to the Charity

The organization has been striving since its establishment in the year 1980 to provide immediate relief among the victims and oppressed amidst natural calamities and sectarian turmoil. Whether it's incidents of sectarian conflicts, storms, earthquakes, floods, fires in slums or settlements, disruption caused by anti-social elements, or devastation wreaked by the government. In all such situations, the members of the Central Relief Welfare Trust consider aiding the destitute and affected people as their religious and national obligation. Without wasting time, they reach out to the distressed and victims, providing immediate assistance and boosting their morale and courage with their own hands.

Lockdown during Covid-19

During the last week of March 2020, COVID-19 (coronavirus) had spread its tentacles globally, leading to the initiation of lockdown measures worldwide. Suddenly, lockdowns were imposed in India as well. Markets were closed, factories shut down, and millions of people lost their jobs. Hundreds of laborers were stranded on the streets, trying to return to their homes. With no transportation available and no money in hand, hungry and thirsty, they began walking. Many succumbed to death before reaching their homes. In such dire circumstances, the members of the Central Relief and Welfare Trust felt the severity of the situation and leaped into action, striving to provide relief to the affected individuals in every possible way.
